How I'd say it:
Juega otra cosa plz. Básicamente estás trolleando a todo el team pickeando ese personaje en una ranked.
Also if it's League I'd say "champ" instead of "personaje". It's hard to translate sucky, because "de mierda" would be a stronger word (shitty) but I think the nuance is already conveyed.

The sentiment would be appropriate for multiple games I play, which is why I used a more general term, but I'll keep that in mind for League!
There are some other terms in English that I think can be hard to find a precise translation for. The best translation I can find for "we're screwed," for example, is "estamos jodidos," which is closer to the stronger "we're fucked."
