@michaelrandom27 @Kerryvan Oops, that was a typo on my part. I mean “I take multivitamins daily”. Does it sound natural?

@michaelrandom27 Would you mind explaining how these two sentences are different? I’m guessing that sentence 1 means I only take one kind of vitamin (vitamin B for example), sentence 2 means I take multiple kinds of vitamins.
1. I take vitamins daily.
2. I take multivitamins daily.
1. I take vitamins daily.
2. I take multivitamins daily.

@brandun A multivitamin is one pill that has multiple types of vitamins. A vitamin pill is a more vague term, so it can have one or more than one vitamin in it. #1 can also mean you take multiple pills that only have one vitamin in them daily.

@michaelrandom27 But #1 can also mean that I only take one type of vitamin such as vitamin B, right?

@brandun I think some people would say it like that, yes, but I personally would just be more specific if I'm only taking one vitamin. I'd say I take vitamin B daily.
